Clients range from large multi-national companies to small businesses.
Typical projects assist clients with:
- Annual pay reviews
- Market data when negotiating pay agreements
- Assessing the right pay level for a new job or existing jobs
- Examining pay relativities within an organisation
- Communicating Total Remuneration/Total Reward to employees
- Developing competitive Human Resources/Remuneration policies.
Regional employment Snap-Shot
A Custom Survey on pay rates & employment conditions in a major regional area for a large, US based multi-national company. Jobs targeted ranged from Production employees to Operations Manager and Clerical/Administrative positions. The company used an international job evaluation system and needed local information to guide them in setting pay in Australia.
Data was collected as at a particular date, specified by the client, for base pay rates and employment conditions covering job groups and survey companies listed by the client.
On completion of the project, the client was provided with a detailed report on the remuneration composition of pay elements provided for the target jobs, together with a scorecard showing their market positioning for ‘soft’ or non-quantifiable employment conditions against the target survey companies.
Total Remuneration (TR) in Australia & New Zealand
A large multi-national corporation based in Europe requested data on Total Remuneration (TR) figures and employment conditions for sales & marketing jobs in Australia & New Zealand.
Target companies were agreed with the client, data was researched and the client was provided with a report showing their competitive position, for each job, in Australia & New Zealand.
New Fitter Classification
A utility in New South Wales requested assistance with setting a pay level for a new level of Fitter within their Maintenance & Reliability Division. Having ascertained the client requirements, data was researched and reported for other Utilities and also comparable large employers in New South Wales.
Review of CEO Package
A small business requested that we conduct a review of the remuneration conditions and job size of their Chief Executive Officer position, particularly with regard to incentive payments.
The position was assessed on relevant market criteria, and the client was advised about pay levels and incentive trends for their sector.
